The Republic of Ireland Billiards & Snooker Association (RIBSA) have just announced they will hold their second junior snooker development day of the season on Sunday the 29th of January in the Ivy Rooms Snooker Club in Carlow.
Any junior player in Ireland are invited to attend the day with our Irish National Coach PJ Nolan and his team of RIBSA Coaches to learn some skills of the game. The players will learn about the Stance, Grip, Cue Action, Cue Ball Control and Basic Potting Skills.
All RIBSA Qualified Coaches are also invited to attend the day and the schedule of events is from10.30am - 11am the players will sign in. The day will begin with the players playing some snooker with PJ and the RIBSA coaches giving some tips and advice to the players. The players will then be shown how to control the cue ball and then try some practice routines.
A re-spotted black tournament will also be held. The action will begin at 11am and finish at 4pm.
RIBSA would like to ask all the clubs to encourage as many of their young members to attend this promotion day and help grow the game in Ireland. The cost to each player will be €5.00.
