After battling with some health issues Nicoletti Flynn returned to snooker today to compete in the National Intermediate final against Ronda Sheldreck. Nicoletti got off to a flying start, missing practically nothing in the first frame, winning it well. She continued her good form in the 2nd frame, and was helped by some bad run of the ball on Ronda; to win the 2nd frame also when Ronda conceded on the blue needing 4 snookers. After a short break, Nicoletti seemed to lose her form and Ronda started to hit the ball well.
The 3rd frame was very close throughout, and Ronda should have been ahead, but suffered some bad run of the ball. Towards the end of the frame Nicoletti regained her focus and potted some fantastic shots towards the end of the frame, finishing well with a good blue and pink to win the frame and match and add the National Intermediate title to her National U 21 title that she won earlier on this year.
A huge congratulations goes to Nicoletti, who was proudly supported by her dad Dominic. Everyone is delighted to see her back in good health and in great playing form.
