Martin McCrudden from Celbridge SC won the 4th RIBSA Ranking event of the season on the Premier Tour in Carlow today in the Ivy Rooms Snooker Club. The win was the second Premier Tour title this season for the Kildare man who is having a superb season.
In the final he beat he beat current No.1 Robert Murphy from Q Club Wicklow 4 frames to 1 in a superb final to claim the winner's cheque.
Despite the small turnout the quality of snooker played was awesome on the day. There was a number of great matches involving former Irish number ones, National Champions and professionals as the standard is so high in all matches.
John Sutton won the highest break with a stunning 105 break and RIBSA would like to thank Ger Murray, Tony Thorpe and the Ivy Rooms for hosting the event in making it a huge success.
RIBSA also confirmed the four Republic of Ireland Senior players who will represent Ireland in the EBSA Team European Championships in Romania.
