Jason Ferguson Chairman of WPBSA visited the Ivy Rooms Snooker Club in Carlow to attend the IBSF World Billiards championships today.
He was joined by Alan Chamberlain who is a former professional referee and a current board member of WPBSA and head of the new rules committee.
Both had a meeting with the Chairman of RIBSA Jim Leacy and they complimented him on the superb facilities in the Ivy Rooms. Jason also talked to PJ Nolan about becoming a World Snooker official coach later this year.
Jason and Alan had to cut short their visit to Carlow to travel to Belfast to attend the funeral of Len Ganley who died earlier this week.
